About
Association: NTNU Ocean and Coast
After five years in experience-based tourism along the coast, I chose to continue my career in a direction that contributes to preserving it. As a biogeographer, I map which coastal landscapes in Norway are most exposed to accumulation of marine plastic pollution and assess their vulnerability, with a particular focus on risks related to the loss of ecosystem services such as carbon storage. This knowledge can guide the optimization of resource use in plastic clean-up efforts, ensuring that funds are used in ways that benefit both nature and society as much as possible.
I am proud to be part of the community at the SU Faculty on Dragvoll, and have the pleasure of running for election as representative for temporary employees on the faculty board in spring 2026.
