Amar Jaiswal
About
Amar Jaiswal was born in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India.
He received the B.E. degree in medical electronics from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), India, in 2007, and the M.S. degree in medical software from Manipal University, India, in 2009.
He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in computer science with the Data and Artificial Intelligence (DART) Group at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway.
From 2008 to 2011, he worked as a software engineer with the Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Computerized Tomography (CT) Division, General Electric (GE) Healthcare, Bengaluru, India.
From 2011 to 2014, he worked with the X-ray and Mammography Division, Philips Healthcare, Bengaluru.
From 2014 to 2017, he was involved in developing telemedicine and remote consultation solutions with Ricoh Healthcare, Bengaluru.
Lately, from 2021 to 2022, and in the year 2023, he worked at the Norwegian Centre for E-health Research, Trømso, Norway.
His research interests include case-based reasoning and artificial intelligence for medical applications.
