About

Research

The focus of my PhD project is to improve produced water treatment processes by investigating gas flotation mechanisms and process conditions using microfluidic systems.

Education

  • 2021: Master of Science in Micro and Nanotechnology | Middle East Technical University (Türkiye) | Investigation of the permeability of the cell membrane for different cryoprotectant agents in a continuous thermo-fluidic micro-channel system
  • 2017: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering | Middle East Technical University (Türkiye)

Experience

  • 2018-2020: Graduate Researcher | Synthesis of monodisperse metal organic frameworks (MOFs) in monodisperse picoliter droplets in a continuous microfluidic system’, The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) 1001 Grant Programme, Proposal No: 220M002
  • 2018-2020: Graduate Researcher | ‘Examination, Mathematical Modelling and Simulation of Shrinkage Rate of Uniform Droplets in a Microfluidic System for Biopreservation’, The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) 1001 Grant Programme, Proposal No: 214M323
