About

Graduated as a civil engineer in 2015, obtained Master of Technology in Geotechnical engineering in 2017 from NIT Surat, India and Doctor of philosophy from Indian Institute of Technology Ropar in 2023. Post doctoral fellow at NTNU since september 2023.

Competencies

  • Landslides
  • Multi-hazard mapping
  • Susceptibility mapping

Research

I focus  my research on determining the impact of anthropogenic activities and climate change on natural  hazards. I check the spatial overlaps of the chain of various interacting multiple hazards using remote  sensing, GIS and eXplainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) techniques. Currently, I am working in detecting  erosion using high resolution Lidar data and mapping the Quick clay landslides (QCL).
