Arron Wilde Tippett
About
Arron Wilde Tippett is a PhD Candidate at the Department of International Business. He research interests include how natural capital accounting data can be used in decision making processes, including land-use planning. He has a background in Ecological Science and has holds a Master of Science in Ecosystem Services from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
He is currently working with the Twin Fjord and Ecomaps projects and has previously worked on the EU Interreg funded Blue Circular Economy and Prowad Link projects.
Current Projects
Twin Fjord - NTNU and Dina Margrethe Aspen lead this project to create a participatory planning support system for sustainable land use management using digital twin technologies.
Ecomaps - UiB and Møreforskning (Liv Guri Velle) lead this project to build ecosystem extent and condition data which meets the needs of land use planning in Norway.
Previous Projects
Blue Circular Economy - This projects supports small and medium-sized enterprises engaged within fishing gear recycling solutions in the Northern periphery region in gaining a greater market reach.
Prowad Link - This project engages small and medium-sized enterprises in nature conservation. Innovative tools and strategies are developed and tested to improve access to nature heritage brands, enhance sustainability efforts and develop innovative marketable offers.
