About

Bismi Rasheed graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Calicut, India in 2014. She received an M.Tech degree in Computer Aided Structural Analysis and Design from Cochin University of Science and Technology, India in 2017. She was a research scholar in the Department of Applied Mechanics at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, from 2018 to 2020. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in the Department of ICT and Natural Sciences at NTNU, Ålesund. She is affiliated with the Cyber-Physical Systems Lab at NTNU Ålesund and the Ålesund Biomechanics Lab. Current research interests focus on biomechanical characterization, soft tissue deformation modeling, and surgical simulation.
