About
Professor Leichter’s career in science and technology spans more than 40 years and it includes biomedical research at the Miami Heart Institute, nuclear missile security and mission critical support for the United States Air Force, teaching mathematics at Purdue University, machine learning applications and nuclear non-proliferation research at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, flight-test engineering at AlliedSignal Aerospace and firmware engineering for the Production Engineering Corporation (New Zealand). At NTNU, Dr Leichter has both taught and pursued research on topics in Data Science for Security and Forensics. He is currently leading a seminar on scientific research for Master's candidates.
