About

Casper is a PhD-student in the project DiSCo - Sustainable Value Creation by Digital Predictions of Safety Performance in the Construction Industry, which is funded by the Norwegian Research Council (NFR). The project collaborates with industrial partners such as Sporveien, Skanska, Norconsult, and Safetec.

Casper's research primarily focuses on safety management, specifically aiming to develop knowledge and methods for the application of AI/machine learning in the early phases of construction projects. The goal is to predict safety levels during the production phase and provide better decision support to reduce the number of accidents in the construction industry.

Machine Learning in Construction Industry: Opportunities and Challenges for Decision-Making and Safety Management

This study presents an exploration of the potential of machine learning in the construction industry, focusing on reducing accident risks through decision support.

Redefinition of Risk in Norwegian Petroleum: Risk Management Consequences

This paper explores how the new definition is understood in the industry and possible changes in risk management the change has led to in the Norwegian petroleum industry.
