Christian Stolz
About
My research is linked to two main areas:
- Sustainable aquaculture: I work on improving aquaculture systems and practices, in particular the management of sea lice, but also optimising farming practices and improving fish health through new technologies.
- Arctic ecology and bird monitoring: As a trained ornithologist, I have worked with bird populations in Arctic ecosystems. My work contributes to the understanding of Arctic animal behaviour and ecological interactions.

Participant in the project “Norwegian breeding bird monitoring” organized by Birdlife Norway, the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA) and the Norwegian Environment Agency.
