CV

After obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Biology of Organisms and Populations, I enrolled in the Erasmus Mundus Master's program called MER (Marine Environment and Resources). During this program, I specialized in Aquaculture, and my MSc thesis focused on studying juvenile salmonids, specifically Arctic charr and Atlantic salmon, in Iceland at Hólar University College and Matís. Our research aimed to investigate the impact of different soy protein inclusions in their diets on their growth and individual behavior/personality.

Following the completion of my master's degree, I had the opportunity to join Marine Conservation Cambodia, an NGO dedicated to protecting coastlines. It was a great experience to be a part of their various missions.

Motivated to expand my knowledge in aquaculture, I pursued a training to become an Aquaponics technician (cool system haversting fish and plants together).

Currently, I am working as a PhD candidate at NTNU IBA, where my research focuses on studying salmon welfare and behavior in the large sea-cages of commercial fish farms.
