Biography and research interests:
Courtney's primary research interests reside at the intersection of trade, social policy, and health. She received her PhD at the University of York (UK), and is currently a senior researcher within CHAIN. She is also Chair of the Trade and Health Forum within the American Public Health Association.
Courtney was recently awarded a Young Researcher Talents grant from the Norwegian Research Council for her project “Trade, Labour Markets and Health”. This project will run through 2024 and generate new knowledge about how international trade impacts population health through labour market and social protection pathways.
