Research
My current focus is on the effects of environmental pollutants everyone is exposed to every day on brain structure and cognition and on the risks of cerebrovascular disease, Alzheimer´s disease, and related dementias (ADRD). My previous studies explored the connections between cognition and physical exercise, demographic variables, and health factors across various research settings, while also examining the prevalence and impact of selection biases and participant engagement on study results.
