I am a PhD Candidate and researcher at the NTNU Department of Structural Engineering. My academic focus centers on the robustness and structural integrity of large-scale timber infrastructure. Currently, my doctoral research investigates the fatigue behavior of dowel-type connections in timber bridges. By integrating large-scale experimental laboratory testing with advanced computational mechanics and finite element modeling (utilizing Abaqus, MATLAB, and Python), I aim to generate robust datasets that will enhance modern Eurocode 5 design standards and ensure the safety of sustainable construction.
