About
In my PhD project, I explore salmon aquaculture and sustainable food governance through a sociological lens, utilising situational analysis. The aim of this research is to contribute to the sustainable development of the salmon farming industry and to enhance sociological understanding of the interplay between discourse, knowledge, and power.
This will be achieved by analysing various cases to comprehend how knowledge is constructed and utilised in policy development processes. By mapping actors, interests, and discourses, I aim to illustrate the role of power relations in the construction and application of knowledge within these processes.
My research interests encompass environmental sociology, sustainable food governance, salmon aquaculture, discourse, and situational analysis.
