PhD project

I research the gig economy, the flexible form of labour mediated on digital platforms, and precarious work. In my project, I ask what consequences the gig economy poses for the nordic labour market.

The project aims to shed light on how precarious work and a heterogeneous workforce transform the basis for traditional workers solidarity and poses new challenges for the Nordic model. Empirically, the Norwegian cleaning industry figures as a case.
