Trained as a photographer in film and television production, with work experience from 2009 to 2019 as a freelance sports photographer covering football, handball, and other events. Also worked as a camera operator and editor for sports and news at both TV 2 and NRK, including Premier League broadcasts and other multi-camera productions during the period living in Bergen.

Joined NTNU in 2017, initially at the Multimediacenter. From 2018 to 2020, the work was part of the Levende Bilder project, which included responsibility for video streaming and training staff in the use of video for teaching and research.

Since 2020, the role has been part of The Education division, Section for teaching, learning and digital services, with a focus on video production—mainly educational video, but also a wide range of other formats.

A strong personal interest is high-quality, light-roasted specialty coffee brewed by hand.
