About

Gerard Clarke holds a PhD in Medicine and Health Sciences from NTNU. His doctoral thesis focused on the utility of blood-based biomarkers for predicting long-term outcomes and injury-related characteristics following mild traumatic brain injury (mild TBI). He is currently continuing this work as a researcher in the Trondheim fMRI group.

Gerard is an active member in the scientific community, winning an award for the best presentation at the Nordic Neurotrauma Conference (NNC) in Lund, 2023. He is an avid R user and proficient in many advanced statistical techniques, which help push his research forward.

Gerard holds a masters in neuroscience from NTNU and a masters in neuropsychology from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. He completed his undergraduate in psychology at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
