Grzegorz Dariusz Malczyk
About
Grzegorz Malczyk is a PhD Candidate under the supervision of Prof. Kostas Alexis. Before, from 2022 to 2023, he was a Research Engineer at Robotic Systems Lab, ETH Zürich, Switzerland. He received the M.Sc. degree in Robotics, Systems and Control in 2022 from the ETH Zürich under the supervision of Prof. Roland Siegwart. His research interests focus on the planning and control of aerial robots and multi-robot systems, aiming to develop algorithms and techniques for operating autonomously in real-world applications. He received his B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich in 2019.
Research
Working on the challenging research problem of aerial-and-ground robot teaming for the problem of autonomous inspection of industrial environments. Of particular focus is exploiting the synergies of ground and flying robots, considering their marsupial combination, and performing multi-robot path planning research for the semantics-driven inspection in the environment.
