I hold a Master’s degree in Art History and a one-year Practical Pedagogical Education qualification.
Since 2020, I have worked to establish a shared digital course offering and first-line services at the NTNU University Library. In 2021, I took part in the library’s reorganization process, and in 2023 I became team leader of Team Kontaktpunkt, which brings together several of the key points of contact between the NTNU University Library and NTNU’s academic and research communities.
I am a union representative and represent Forskerforbundet in LOSAM FA.

Since 2010, I have worked as an art critic, columnist, lecturer, and non-fiction writer. As a member of editorial teams, I have been involved with ArtScene Trondheim and Magasinet Billedkunst for many years. For ten years, I wrote a regular art column for Adresseavisen, and in 2015 I received the first-ever award of the Fritt Ord Critics’ Grant.
Until 2019, I worked as a university lecturer at the Department of Art and Media Studies (IKM) at NTNU.
I have written more than one thousand columns, articles, and exhibition texts, and have contributed to numerous books and exhibition catalogues. Among other publications, I authored the chapter “A Discovered Hiding Place: Lotte Konow Lund’s 66 Minutes” in the anthology Bearbeidelser: 22. juli i ord og bilder (ed. Anne Gjelsvik, Universitetsforlaget, 2020), wrote all artist presentations in the book on Norway’s largest art prize Lorck Schive Art Prize 2013–2019 (ed. Ingvill Henmo, Uten tittel forlag, 2019), and was the author of Kunstguiden – utendørskunst i Trondheim / Public Art in Trondheim (ed. Maria Veie Sandvik, Museumsforlaget, 2021).
