Iêda Lúcia Dos Santos Nygård is a PhD candidate at the Department of International Business (IIB), where she conducts research in management accounting. Her doctoral project examines how structures and mechanisms within corporate governance influence asymmetric cost behavior, with particular emphasis on managerial implications and organizational decision-making processes.
She holds an experience-based master’s degree in International Business and Marketing, as well as a Master of Science in International Business and Marketing (Siviløkonom) from NTNU. She has also acquired diverse professional experience in the private sector in roles such as accountant, controller, interpreter, and guide. This background has provided her with a solid practical and professional foundation that complements her academic work.
