I am a PhD candidate in human geography.

My project is about geographical and place-specific characteristics of the basic structures of local communities in rural Norway, how these are changing, and how this relates to spatial justice and injustice. 
I will conduct empirical research in chosen local communities that are experiencing or have experiencied considerable changes in their basic structure, like closures of upper secondary schools.

I have an academic background from environmental and development studies from The University of Oslo and from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences.
