About
Master's degree in Physics (MTFYMA) from 2023 with the title "Electron Microscopy on Gas-Atomized Silicon and Nickel Silicide Powders". During my degree, I spent one year at Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA), France, where I specialized in physics and nanotechnology.
I am currently pursuing a PhD in Physics at the TEM Gemini Centre, where I study the effect of cold deformation on Al-Mg-Si-Cu alloys using transmission electron microscopy. My project is part of SFI PhysMet. During both my master's and my PhD, I have been working with conventional TEM, STEM, HAADF-STEM, EDS, EELS, SEM, light microscopy, corrosion testing, FTIR, mechanical testing, and sample preparation using both FIB (including cleanroom experience) and electropolishing.
In addition to my research, I represent temporary employees at NTNU/Department of Physics (IFY). I serve on the department board at IFY, the PhD program board at IFY, and am currently also a member of the NTNU Tekna board.
