About

I am a PhD candidate at SINTEF Digital, dept. of Health, in cooperation with NTNU and St. Olavs. In the PhD project I wish to investigate how we can integrate information from echocardiography (heart ultrasound), physiological variables (e.g. heart rate, blood pressure), and other characteristics (e.g. sex, age, height/weight) to improve diagnosis of myocardial infarction and other cardiac diseases. We wish to develop a framework based on artificial intelligence (AI), and will do this in close collaboration with clinical as well as technical researchers.

My background is from Applied physics and mathematics at NTNU, where I specialiced in biophysics and medical technology. My research interests include (but are not limited to) machine learning and medical image analysis.
