About

Associate professor of Natural Sciences, Dr. Scient. in evolutionary ecology from the University of Oslo. I have experience in teaching science at primary school, adult education, colleges and universities. I have taught in many areas of science in teacher education with a particular emphasis on biodiversity, education for sustainable development, curricula, science didactics and technological applications in science. Recent research and development work in science education has focused on VR technology, place-based learning, plastic pollution in nature, citizen science and the understanding of biodiversity. I have contributed to two textbooks for teacher education in science and contribute dissemination work on plant-related topics in the Great Norwegian Encyclopedia (SNL).
