Kjell Høyland
About
I am a physician with specialization in cardiology and internal medicine. I am currently a PhD candidate at NTNU, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, where I am pursuing a PhD in cardiology. My research focuses on novel echocardiographic techniques for quantification of myocardial fibrosis in heart failure. Besides medicine, I have a strong interest in physics, mathematics and technology, and I am grateful that I have the opportunity to include these interests into my research. I have developed my clinical skills in cardiologi and internal medicine through my previous work experiences at Haukeland universitetssjukehus and Voss sjukehus in Vestland county, Norway.
