I am a PhD student working within the HolE-LiB project which develops a holistic ecosystem for repurposing and recycling of lithium-ion batteries in Norway and the EU. My project focuses on the user perspectives related to repurposing batteries.

In addition, I am associated with the Shore Control Lab (SCL) at Nyhavna, and involved in the following research projects:

LASHFIRE

       Design and development of a table for a digital
         fire control center (WP7).
         Digital protyping of a digital fire control center (WP7)

MIDAS

Participating in the work package Trust in autonomy (AP 2)

In 2021/2022 I held the position as a research assistant at the Department of Design affiliated with the Shore Control Lab. During that period I was involved in the research projects TRUSST, Lashfire, MIDAS, Digifjord and SCAPE.

I graduated as an industrial designer at NTNU Trondheim, where I completed my master's in 2021.

Outreach

Will Norway drown in used EV batteries?

It is essential to gain a comprehensive understanding of how to handle end-of-life batteries. Here we present our research within the HolE-LiB project, and discuss the challenges from the business model, design, and technical perspective.
