Research

My research focuses on environmental monitoring of emerging organic pollutants including per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs), microplastics and bisphenols etc. in the areas where the corresponding data are scarce, such as global south and benthic zones. The aim is to track the sources of these pollutants from the local land use activities and biogeochemical processes.
