Madhushree is a PhD student in the Field Robotics Lab, Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (MTP), at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). She holds a Master's degree from NTNU in the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Degree Programme in Marine and Maritime Intelligent Robotics (MIR), with a specialization in Safe Autonomous Subsea Operations, and a B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence from Amity University Kolkata. Her work centers on robotics and computer vision, with a particular focus on underwater visual features. Her master's thesis, "Adapting Robust Visual Representations for Diverse & Degraded Underwater Environments," involved fine-tuning the XFeat feature-matching model using data collected from the Trondheim Fjord and MC Lab pool with a BlueROV2.
