Background and activities

Malene Rosvold is a research assistant in sports at the Department of Sociology and Political Science (ISS). The position consists of organization of courses, teaching, supervision and research work.

Rosvold is associated with the research groups Skills and performance development in sports and school and Gender and inequality (ISS).

She delivered her master's degree in Physical Education and Sports at ISS in June 2020. At both bachelor's and master's level, she investigated how the body and female gender effect female handball referees' conditions in the role and in the sport organization.
