About

I am a senior researcher at the Industrial Ecology (IndEcol) Programme. My research topics are currently focused on the prospective life-cycle assessment of energy production value chains, bioenergy systems, sustainable land management systems for biofuels, and mapping of land availability and biomass resource potentials to address the challenges related to climate change mitigation.

 

Background

I have worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at IndEcol/EPT for two years, mostly focusing on the LCA and climate impacts from biofuel production for the deep-sea maritime applications. My publications mainly relate to modeling and simulation tools applied to evaluate the impacts of bioenergy systems, integrating biomass availability, agricultural production models, and different value chain configurations.
