Marko Kovacevic
About
Marko Kovacevic graduated from UiT in 2020 with a Master thesis in historical demographics, which was a detailed epidemiological study of old Tromsø's relationship with tuberculosis. Focusing on gender, socio-economic and geospatial factors and their influences on tuberculosis mortality within the town.
He is currently working on Francisco J. Beltrán Tapia's project "Missing girls in historical Europe" as a PhD Candidate. His contribution to the project is directed at the Norwegian quantitative sources and will primarily focus on patterns in infant and child mortality, investigating possible excess female mortality in Norway.
