Martin Lukas Baerveldt
About
Martin received the M.Sc. degree in complex adaptive systems from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden, in 2019 and received the PhD degree from the Department of Engineering Cybernetics, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2025. The PhD degree was funded as a part of European training and research network on autonomous barges for smart inland shipping (AUTOBarge). He is currently a researcher affiliated with the SFI Autoship. His research interests include automated situational awareness with a view to autonomous surface vessels, with a particular focus on extended object tracking.
