My PhD research focuses on pelvic floor disorders and sexual health in postmenopausal women. In particular, I investigate the long‑term effects of mode of delivery on sexual activity and sexual function in later life, with the aim of identifying obstetric and clinical risk factors for sexual dysfunction.

I am part of the pelvic floor research group.

 

I obtained my medical degree with a thesis in Gynecology/Obstetrics, examining risk factors for stillbirth in the Lombardy region, Italy.
