May Helen Midtbust (1972) is a trained nurse and is an assosiate professor at the Department of Health Sciences in Aalesund. She has particular responsibility for teaching within elderly care and dementia care. She is deputy head of education (bachelor in nursing) at the Department of Health Sciences (IHA), and the research group leder of "Practice-oriented research - development of health professionals' expertice (PREX).
