Mohammad Bayesteh is a filmmaker, visual artist, curator, and PhD candidate at NTNU’s Trondheim Academy of Fine Art. His research approaches filmmaking as a living ecosystem of relations and investigates how cooperative storytelling can contribute to social transformation through collective making, shared reflection, dialogical pedagogy, and iterative practices. He has made twenty films, including The Forgiveness Trilogy, Blue is the Sky, Hege meets Diana, The Rabbit, Nardang (Docuseries), Brandenburg Mary, Silver, Soltanyeh Vault, and Standing; facing the wall, and has worked as chief editor on over 150 films. His practice extends to workshops, public programming, and EU-funded research projects.
