About

CV

Mohd Sameen Chishti is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Information Systems and Software Engineering (ISSE) at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Prior to joining NTNU, he served as an Assistant Professor at the School of Computing Science, Engineering, and Technology, Bennett University, Greater Noida, India. He earned his PhD in Computer Science in 2022 from South Asian University, New Delhi, India, under the supervision of Dr. Amit Banerjee.

Sameen's research focuses on addressing architectural limitations of blockchain infrastructure and enhancing its applicability across various domains such as supply chain management and the metaverse. Currently, he is engaged in developing a cross-chain NFT transfer and tracking mechanism under the supervision of Prof. Jingyue Li.

As a Postdoctoral Fellow, he is involved in the development of a Seafood Tracing Application within the TRACE4EU umbrella, an EBSI project. The project aims to utilize the EBSI protocol to establish a transparent and verifiable trail of seafood exported from Norway.

Sameen serves as a Technical Program Committee member for the Blockchain and Internet of Things Conference (BIOTC) 2024 in Fukuoka, Japan. Additionally, he acts as a reviewer for numerous reputable journals and conferences. He is also member of various professional bodies.
