About

CV

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in Political Science. Previously, I completed my PhD at the University of Münster, Germany working on the social legitimacy of International Organizations.

Research

My research focuses on attitudes towards institutionalized forms of international cooperation. I mainly use experimental methods to investigate the psychological mechanisms behind political behavior.

I have worked on the legitimacy of the UN and IOs and general and on attitudes towards the EU. Furthermore, I am interested in citizens' understanding of international trade and climate agreements.

Publications

Under what conditions do citizens consider external sanctions from the EU against their country to be appropriate? Can national political elites shift blame to the EU level in these situations?
