Background and activities
Responsible for the development of research projects related to marine technology. Operation and logistics coordination of activities related to our remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), autonomous surface vehicles (ASV) and a variety of scientific isntruments and sensors. Design, testing and deployment of new instrumentation. Guidance and follow up of the development of students within their masters or PhD degress and apprentices (lærling).
Relevant participation in CAGE cruise 2016 with UiT, Marmine with DCNS (now Naval Group), BlueMining, Kontiki II wtih NIVA, Arctic ABC with UiT among others.
