About

I am a magnetic resonance physicist at the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at St. Olav's Hospital, and an associate professor at the Department of Circulation and Medical Imaging at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

I apply advanced tools from applied mathematics for the methodological development of MRI system design, operation and data processing. My research interests include: MR physics, pulse sequencing and image reconstruction; post-processing techniques and parameter estimation, especially within diffusion MRI; novel hardware design (gradients, shims, RF coils, microsystems); electromagnetic and thermodynamic modelling; optimization techniques, and deep-learning-based applications in MRI.
