Finley Alexander Quinton
About
I am a PhD Candidate at the department of Industrial Economics and Technology Management (IØT). I obtained my MSc in physics, and am now working on quantum optimization and machine learning applications in the energy sector. The main focus lies here on algorithm designs and tackling hard optimization problems in the energy domain.
Research
Quantum optimisation with annealing and gate-based quantum computers. Hybrid quantum optimisation algorithms with a focus on their potential for energy systems.
