I research how regulatory instruments and industrial practices shape transitions in human–environment systems. My current work examines end-of-life plastics in aquaculture, focusing on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), value-chain collaboration, and pathways where industry, governance, and communities inform each other. Rather than treating plastics only as a technological or economic problem, I explore how responsibility is negotiated under environmental pressure. With a background as an architect and urban planner in Arctic and Nordic regions, I combine field knowledge of land use and community governance with systemic analysis of industrial ecology, resilience, and adaptation.
