Rebekka Ween
About
Botanist and engineer at the Department of Biology.
Field course coordinator and lecturer in botany, ecology and biodiversity.
I also help with plant research at the department.
My main work areas:
- Plants and species identification
- Teaching in the field (field courses, excursion and lab)
- Species identification of plants (and some algae, fungi, lichens and moss)
- Ecology, evolution and sustainability
- Lecturer focused on mutualistic interaction, restoration and global ecology
- Research support
- Field work, green house, species identification, lab analysis.
I also enjoy outreach, from how to create a nature-friendly garden, to the strange, carnivorous, edible or poisonous plants we find in nature.
