Reem received her BSc in Mathematics from the American University of Sharjah (AUS) 2020, where she worked as a grader, tutor, and research assistant in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, and was awarded the Al Ghurair STEM Scholarship.
She went on to complete her MSc at AUS as a graduate teaching and research assistant, during which she was recognized with the Graduate Student Research, Scholarly, and Creative Work Excellence Award in 2022.
She is currently a PhD candidate specializing in cryptography and privacy-preserving machine learning. Her research focuses on secure computation and the design of privacy-enhancing techniques for health registry data access.
