Ritik is a PhD candidate working in the Department of Energy and Process Engineering at NTNU. His current research focusses on the pathways to long-term decarbonisation of the maritime industry using Integrated Assessment Modelling.

Prior to this, Ritik was working at CEEW, a policy-research think tank based out of New Delhi, India. His work revolved around the long-term energy modelling for national and sub-national level scenarios and informing policy insights to the stakeholders. With a background in Civil Engineering, he holds Masters in Science by Research from IIT Madras. His thesis was focused on the advanced oxidation processes for water and wastewater remediation.
