My name is Rizza Ardiyanti. I am Indonesian. I am a PhD candidate in Water and Wastewater group. I started the PhD program in December 2020. My PhD project is part of the EU-funded WIDER UPTAKE project, aiming at developing a roadmap for widespread implementation of water-smart symbiotic solutions for wastewater reuse and resource recovery. The goal is to develop risk monitoring and risk control schemes for managing the health and environmental risks associated with the reuse of treated wastewater and recovered products.
My supervisors are Assoc. Professor Cynthia Hallé from NTNU, and Kamal Azrague from SINTEF.
My educational background is in environmental and chemical engineering, particularly in membrane technology. I have professional working experience in Indonesia, Portugal, and the Netherlands as a process engineer and consultant in the water and wastewater sector. I have competencies in designing treatment installations for water and wastewater projects ranging from Process Control Philosophy, P&IDs, Process Flow Diagrams, Mass Balances, Basic Process Design, Process engineering design, and drafting and checking process-related documentation.
My research interest is in resource recovery, purification processes, and water and wastewater treatment.
