About

My main field of work is in the domain of multi-phase flows. During my PhD tenure, I specifically worked on understanding the dynamics of spherical and non-spherical solid particles in the evolving Taylor-Green Vortex flow. I am currenty working on bubble-turbulence interactions as a Postdoctoral researcher.

Area of Work:

  • Turbulence
  • Lagrangian dynamics
  • Multi-phase flows

Skills and Expertise:

  • Particle dynamics
  • Direct numerical simulations
  • Development of algorithms

Education:

  • PhD, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU): Thesis title "Particle suspensions in evolving Taylor-Green vortex flow"
  • Master of Science (MS) in Aerospace Mechanics, ISAE-SUPAERO, Toulouse, France (2013-2015)
  • Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical Department, BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore, India (2008-2012)

Research Experience:

  • Research Assistant, Physics Department, IIT Kanpur, India (2016-2017) - Topic: 2D Turbulence
  • Master Thesis, Physics laboratory, ENS de Lyon, France, (6 months, 2015) Topic: Lagrangian Turbulence

Work Experience:

  • Assistant Systems Engineer, Tata Consultancy Services, Mumbai, India (2012-2013)
