Part of the Science Education Research section. PhD in science education resarch, cand.scient. in astro-particle physics.
Current research: Physics as Bildung, mainly through connecting subjects and education in society and seeing them in context.
Teaching: Has mostly taught physics to engineering students in various variations, as well as history of technology and science, life cycle asessment, ethics etc.
In addition, I have experience from a number of union representative and political positions (including 5 years as chief union representative at the former HiST, as well as secretary in NTL Universities and Colleges and 8 years as group leader at the County Council of Sør-Trøndelag/education committee).
Academically, I have had the opportunity to broaden my interest from purely physics and physics education research to, among other things, questions about scientific method, technology and society, research policy, and issues at the intersections between these.
