Background and activities

Ruslan is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Energy and Process Engineering, affiliated to Energy and Indoor Environment group and the Industrial Ecology Programme. He is also engaged in ongoing work of the Centre on Zero Emission Neighborhoods in Smart Cities.

His research focus is long-term predictive modeling of urban energy demand with an account for current/future operational performance of buildings, structural changes, energy sources and technology used.

Ruslan holds M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering (NTUU "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute"), M.Sc. in Sustainable Manufacturing (Gjøvik University College) and worked as a Life Cycle Analyst prior to joining NTNU.
