Reservoir Engineer

Aug 2022 - Present : Equinor ASA

Production and Emissions Forecasting: Responsible for Short term and Long term prognosis of hydrocarbon production (Decline curve analysis and Full field reservoir fluid flow simulation) and emissions.

GHG Emissions Modeling: Workflows around bottom-up approach to give high-quality installation and portfolio level modeling by integrating data, knowledge and future plans from different disciplines, to calculate energy demand and greenhouse gas emissions from oil and gas production and processing.

Aug 2014 - Aug 2018 : Beicip Franlab (IFP Middle East Consulting)

Basic reservoir engineering: Participated in studies to analyze PVT, SCAL, Water encroachment analysis and mapping, Material Balance, Aquifer modelling

Reservoir Characterization & Modelling: Fracture & Fault Characterization & Modeling based on analysis of seismic, well static and dynamic data. Worked on Giant fields of Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi for integrated modeling and simulation of naturally fractured reservoirs.

Reservoir Simulation: Participated in integrated as well as focused studies for history matching, Field development (Business development plans as well as Long term development plans), 2Phi2K Simulation, Enhanced Oil Recovery studies

Uncertainty management and optimization: Was a project leader for assisted history matching study at Abu Dhabi, participated and published on a project to generate multi-realizations of several forward stratigraphic models of Lower Cretaceous reservoirs of Abu Dhabi. An innovative workflow was applied using Experimental design and Response surface techniques in order to provide alternative scenarios/models that honor well data.

Training reservoir engineers on reservoir modelling, simulation, uncertainty management.
