Serinha is a PhD Candidate working on the implementation of Responsible AI in organisational contexts. Despite growing consensus on AI principles, organisations continue to struggle to translate them into everyday practice. Existing frameworks often remain abstract, leaving a gap between principles and implementation. Her research focuses on the processes through which organisations learn to adopt, adapt, and institutionalise responsible practices.

The project is at the Department of Industrial Economics and Technology Management in Gløshaugen, which is part of the Norwegian Research Centre for AI Innovation (NorwAI). The position is linked to the Work Package “AI Innovation Ecosystem” that aims to create an Innovation Ecosystem among NorwAI partners. 

Background

Prior to this PhD position, I completed a Master of Science in Business Administration specialising in Strategic Innovation Management from the University of Stavanger, Norway and a Master of Science in Finance and Investment from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Zimbabwe.
